Jannatun completed her PhD with Fiona and Ashish on a very interesting topic - addressing spatial biases in GCMs. She used this very powerful approach - Independent Component Analysis - as a means of removing spatial biases. Her PhD was perhaps the first ever on this issue and led to the following papers (some in submission stage still):
